Treating IBS
No cure has been found for IBS, but there are several ways to ease the symptoms:

1. Diet Change
Avoid food that can make your symptoms worse:
  • Fatty food
  • Chocolate and dairy products
  • Alcohol
  • Caffeine
  • Carbonated drinks
Eat fiber-rich food like fruits and vegetables. These are especially helpful for constipation.

If your symptoms are triggered by consumption of a large meal, try eating less for each meal but eat more frequently.
